Jennifer R. NinoAssociate
Jennifer Rakers Nino has lived in Southern California for over 25 years. Ms. Nino received the Trustee’s Scholarship at the University of San Diego, where she double-majored in Business Administration and Mass Media Communications. Throughout college, Ms. Nino actively participated in community service and school activities, and in 1994 she received USD’s Honor’s Program’s Anne Catherine Swanke Award for Service to School and Community. Ms. Nino was the Editor in Chief of USD’s yearbook, The Alcala.
After graduating from college, Ms. Nino attended the University of San Diego School of Law and University of San Diego School of Business, where she was enrolled in the joint J.D.-M.B.A. program. In 1996, Ms. Nino traveled to England to study international and comparative law at Magdalen College at the University of Oxford. Ms. Nino earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1997 from the University of San Diego School of Law.
Ms. Nino began her legal career working for a prominent construction defect law firm as a law clerk in 1995. After earning her Juris Doctor degree, she continued in the field of construction defect law until 2002. At that time, she was offered a job with a prominent San Diego defense law firm, practicing in the areas of healthcare law, medical malpractice, and personal injury law. Ms. Nino defended physicians, hospitals and nurses in malpractice claims, and she defended skilled nursing facilities against claims of elder abuse. Ms. Nino continued to practice law in these areas until she joined Lorber, Greenfield and Polito in early 2016. Ms. Nino is presently involved in all aspects of defending developers of residential construction.
Ms. Nino is licensed to practice law in California, Nevada and Colorado. In addition, Ms. Nino is a licensed Realtor.
When not practicing law or selling homes, Ms. Nino enjoys going to the beach, camping, traveling, and spending time with her three children.
