We are pleased to announce that our current Partner, Katie Smith has taken over the role of Managing Partner of our Portland office. Katie started her legal career as a JAG with the United States Air Force and spent several years managing her own legal practice. She brings with her sixteen years of experience with litigation, firm management, supervision of staff, and mentoring of new lawyers. Her litigation practice includes handling of complex construction litigation matters, casualty liability and general tort claims (personal injury, products liability, property tort) and she is well known for her dedication and resolve for her clients. Her involvement on the Board of Directors of the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel community is a testament to her commitment to supporting and improving the legal profession within her community. With her enthusiasm, integrity and dedication to excellence and the legal profession, we know the Portland office will thrive with her at the helm.
